My creations
Wooden bowls
My work focuses on creating large, luxurious wooden bowls and other hollow forms—each meticulously polished to a flawless finish while honoring the natural imperfections of the wood. I’m especially drawn to spalted sections, branchings, roots, and other challenging parts of fallen trees. These pieces may be difficult to work with, but they reveal nature’s own artistry in surprising and unforgettable ways.
Resin art
I love combining modern materials with natural wood to create bold contrasts and truly unique designs. Epoxy resin may be costly and challenging to work with, but it gives me the chance to breathe new life into wood that would otherwise be discarded. My goal is to craft pieces that are genuinely one-of-a-kind.
“The bowl is simply stunning. It has heaps of character and you can tell that it has been crafted with love. They would make a perfect gift for someone, but I have to keep this one for myself 😁”

ABOUT ME
Who is Neshika?
My name is Vojtěch „Neshika“ Meluzín, and my whole life I believed I was the embodiment of clumsiness—hence the name Neshika (Czech for clumsy guy). That’s what happens when your parents think the same about themselves. And yes, I’m a cliché—a burned-out programmer who found joy in working with his hands.
One day, a plum tree fell in our garden. When I saw the wood, burning it would be a deadly sin. So I bought a miter saw, hoping to make something out of it—despite having no knowledge or experience. It turned out that a miter saw alone doesn’t get you very far. But then, by chance, I came across a video of someone turning a wooden bowl on a lathe. So the next thing I bought was a tiny lathe.
Again, with zero knowledge or experience, I started jabbing chisels into that wood. Bowls went flying and crashed into various body parts. Cuts and bruises multiplied. And most importantly—a full-blown addiction was born.
The garage in our new house turned into a workshop that swallowed a significant chunk of my savings. Today, I make all kinds of bowls and vases, from wood and resin. I specialize in ultra-glossy pieces with resin surfaces, which almost no one else does—because everyone else has common sense 🙂
